a spiritual type sonnet with a case of appendicitis
How much kindness has there been for me?
How much kindness has there been for us?
Did one really want to lay down all Our Laws
On those whose work or love or play revealed all Our Flaws?
Did one really want to impose Harsh Rules
On those whose cherished notions upset all Our Schools?
Did one really want to deprive of Love
The ones whose lovely nature seemed gift from Above?
Did one really want to bring down such pain
On those whose maddest moments were Divinely Sane?
Did one really want to declare Some War
Over the loyalites of one whom All adore?
Alas such so called ” World” did thrust me deep in shit
Then with foul/fair Humor smiled “now marry it!’
This being said and done one must ‘forgive’
Those jealous quasi -braindead hacks who ‘let one live”
